HVAC Van Setup

The key to an organized HVAC van setup is giving every piece of equipment and part a designated place, and parts bins are key to ensuring you won’t have to restock mid job. Maximize the vertical storage space of your parts bins by using storage racks with adjustable shelving. Utility hooks are a great option for storing extension cords and hanging lights without taking up extra space, simply attach them to the end of a storage rack. One of the benefits of a cargo van over a service truck is that you have a work space no matter what the weather, so make sure there is enough standing room inside the van to do work like machining or fabrication. Finally, make sure your van is outfitted with a partition to protect the driver from equipment, and the equipment from theft.
